The Beginning
Aenopia was formed on 1 July 2019 initially under the name of the 'Federation of Aenopia'. However, only a few hours passed before talks were underway with James Ellis of Empire of Emosia to become a dominion. Following an agreement being reached, a treaty was signed on the same day annexing the Aenopian territory now known as New Llandudno and Subsidiaries. Logan became 'Governor of Aenopia' and Aenopia subsequently became a dominion of Emosia.
Following this, Aenopia began developing a series of rockets, with the first being a simple matchstick rocket named Nova I. 2 launches were tried in all, with both ending in failure. It was intended that the rocket be repurposed as a 'missile' in the armed forces once it's scientific uses are complete, however, this idea was rejected due to the absurdity of it. Along with this, the Aenopian Aeronautics Administration (AAA) was set up. This covered space exploration and the development and testing of new aviation technology.

Independence and Rapid Growth
On 15 August 2019, Aenopia gained independence from the Empire of Emosia after one month. Free movement between all nations involved (this included Aenopia, Emosia and Qaflana) ended, and all Aenopians with dual Emosian citizenship had their dual citizenship revoked. After Aenopian independence, Aenopia began to expand, with a small island located in the River Teme and a small grassy area in the Peak District near the small British town of Grindleford, Derbyshire both being claimed in July 2019. Logan I also became the Governor of Aenopian Plushunia; a Crown Dependency located within Aenopian Calver on 4 August 2019.
On 20 August 2019, it was decided to withdraw Aenopia from the largely-controversial Organisation of Active Micronations (originally named New Eiffel Union of Micronations ) following internal disputes and instability within the organisation as a whole. 6 days later the Organisation of Active Micronations (2019) was dissolved after other influential members such as Phokland, New Eiffel and Emosia. Despite this, Aenopia started reaching out to other nations and other organisations to improve its position within the community. Aenopia was accepted as an Observer on 6 October 2019 and later as a Provisional state on 10 November 2019. On 24 August 2019, Greater New Aberdare was annexed, increasing the number of citizens to 6. Following this annexation, it was decided to revoke New Llandudno's Capital status and instead grant it to the new city of New Aberdare because of the location.

Settlement and Economic Growth
During November 2019, development decreased. Communication with other nations continued to increase, and Aenopia was accepted as a Full Member after the Quorum of Delegates convened and voted on 27 November 2019.
After the annexation of Greater New Aberdare in August 2019, annexation of land ceased completely. An attempt was made to annex a small pocket of land in a forest near to the Spa town of Ilkley named 'Blaenau Novae', the land was unceremoniously annexed in December 2019. However, the claim was redacted a few days later. The reason for the relinquishing of the claim is unclear, with it being believed that access was too difficult to be able to enforce the claim because of the distance from New Aberdare (the centre of Aenopia) and the irregularity of visits to the area. Following this, the flag intended for the territory was instead assigned to Aenopian Teme to replace the previous flag.
